Thank you for helping us connect to each other, our environment, and ourselves.

Do you have a song in your heart but believe you "can't sing"?  Is Shakespeare confusing at best, indecipherable at worst? Maybe you did all your high school musicals or spent years in the choir, and would love to feel that rush again... if you could find the courage.

As a teaching artist, I work privately and in workshop with students across ages, background and skill level. I've taught with Broadway Bound Kids (elementary/middle school level) and given high school level workshops for Sing For Hope and Pius XI High School. My diverse background - from a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University and twenty years' vocal study (and counting), training in Linklater & Alexander techniques, yoga, dance and movement; to experience with spoken word and poetry, choral and chamber music, indie rock, jazz and folk, and my own daily journey through nerves and stage fright - enables me to meet a variety of students where they are and find the tools that work for them.

Voice, acting and public speaking lessons are available in Riverdale and in midtown Manhattan. Find me on Thumbtack or contact me for details.

Thank you for helping me connect with my body, mind and soul.

Working with Katie is an extremely enriching experience and I am enjoying it very much. She is knowledgeable, reflective, open to the needs of an unorthodox Shakespeare lover like me, willing to share. She is attentive, creative, a great coach/teacher/listener/guide!
